While I (Joel) must admit that at first the purpose for my having my own web site was for personal enjoyment,
now the primary reasons I have created and continue to maintain the web pages posted here is for my wife, our family,
for visitors such as yourself, and above all (I hope and pray) to serve God. Perhaps this is only a small way in
which I can help others and fulfill one of the Lord's purposes for my life, but I am very thankful for it. We hope
that it proves to be a benefit to you in whatever ways the Lord makes possible. May God bless you!

Just a quick news-ish note to point out that, aside from a couple portions of our web site (most notably our blog and the older forums),
our web server has been revamped and updated so that, 1) it is more capable; and 2) it is (hopefully) a bit faster. The aforementioned
still-in-need-of-updating parts should be up-and-running again soon.

As promised, nearly 30 photos have now been added to Job's "Newborn" photo album,
with more to come as additional photo opportunities arise. Plus, for an added bonus, we've posted a brief video of
Job online on YouTube (see below).
Both mother and baby are doing very well following a more restful night than might be expected. We cannot thank everyone
enough for all the prayers offered up on our behalf. God most assuredly answered all of them! Thank you, too, to those
who have already visited us, as well as those who have helped take care of our little girls.

Once again, long time no update. But now that we finally have an update, what an update it is! Welcome to the
world our new baby boy, Job Wilder (as in
Job, the book of the Bible)! He
was born at 9:10 PM today (what a birthday present for Daddy!), weighing in at 9 lbs., 13 ounces, and measuring 22 1/2 inches.
Take a look at a couple initial photos taken with Mommy and Daddy below (with more soon to be added to our
photo album). We're so unbelievably blessed. Praise the Lord for
His grace and goodness and for our big, healthy baby boy! We can't wait for his older sisters to see him!
